Ibadan Is the second most populus city in Yoruba land with a total Population of over 6 million people within its metropolitan area.

It is the largest city by land mass in Yoruba land, with a total Metropolitans area of 6,800Km², Almost 3 times the size of Ẹ̀kó.

As of 1960, Ibadan was the largest and most populous city in the country, and the second most populous in Africa behind Cairo, Before most of its Glories were transferred to Lagos at the end of the Western Region.

Ibadan is ranked the second fastest growing city on the African continent according to the UN Human settlements research program (2022), It is also ranked third in West Africa in the tech startups index. Ibadan joined the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities in 2016.

Ibadan is located on Latitude "7°23′47″N"  & Longitude "3°55′0″E", and also about 128 kilometres (80 mi) inland northeast of Lagos.

Ibadan is a prominent transit point between the coastal region and areas in the hinterland of Yoruba land.

badan had been the administrative centre of the old Western Region since the early days of British colonial rule, and parts of the city's ancient protective walls still stand to this day.

The City of Ibadan Started as a war camp for the Oyo Army during the 1820s, the area started to become a city right after the collapse of the old Oyo empire, with Population reaching over a 100,000 by 1896.

126 years later, the city has witness a lot of transformation and renovation over the ages, most notably, the development received from 1954-1967 (Western Region), with many schools, businesses, hospitals, Sports facility etc and the first high-rise buildings in West Africa, named the Cocoa house, with profits derived from the sales of cocoa.

It lies completely within the tropical forest zone but close to the boundary between the forest and the derived savanna. The city ranges in elevation from 150 m in the valley area, to 275 m above sea level on the major north–south ridge which crosses the central part of the city.

The city of Ibadan is naturally drained by four rivers with many tributaries: Ona River in the North and West; Ogbere River towards the East; Ogunpa River flowing through the city and Kudeti River in the Central part of the metropolis.

Ogunpa River, a third-order stream with a channel length of 12.76 km and a catchment area of 54.92 km2. Lake Eleyele is located at the northwestern part of the city, while the Osun River and the Asejire Lake bounds the city to the east.

We hope that after Odùdùwà Republic Independence is Achieved, Ibadan will return to it's former glory as the center of commerce for Odùdùwà Republic, we hope that the Government of Odùdùwà Republic help in modernizing Ibadan, By rebuilding the city from scratch and without touching historical buildings,

Building additional two International airports,

Several hundreds kilometers of underground subway for surface traffic reduction, Over a hundred high rise building In the city to house residents and offices,

provision of jobs & Building of mordern medical infrastructure,

Building of all basic and needed social amenities & decongestion of Lagos by build houses for former Lagos residence.

This and many more will ease Lagos of Heavy traffic and over Population, and will increase the GDP from current the current $9 Billion to over $350 Billion, make it one of the richest cities in the world just behind London & Shanghai.

Increasing the Population of Ibadan From 6 Million, to 20 Million, and leaving Lagos to be around 18-14Million. Becoming the Economic Capital & Leaving Lagos as An Entertainment Capital.
